With the hardest draw of the seeds, Francesca Schiavone will face the strongest two of Flavia Pennetta, Daniela Hantuchova, Shaui Peng and Dominika Chibulkova in her next matches. After that, she'll expect to face Wozniacki in the quarter-finals.

Marion Bartoli, who announced she was playing the best she had ever been a fortnight ago, has been struggling for form her since and took two and a half hours to topple Iveta Benesova in the first round.

Last season this fixture resulted in a 3-3 draw despite Arsenal leading 3-1, and the reverse fixture saw Arsenal throw away a 2-0 lead at half-time to lose 3-2 at the Emirates.
